IQon Spectral CT Workshop

At Philips, we see IQon Spectral CT being a disruptive new technology where spectral information is available at all times for all patients and all examinations, empowering healthcare providers to utilize this technology routinely in all CT diagnosis. This one-day workshop is aimed at existing and future users of spectral CT. Participants will learn how to access and interpret the spectral information. Case readings will be in a hands-on fashion allowing participants to master interpretation for routine and practical clinical use.

About Speaker

Dr Peter Ball

Dr Peter Ball is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Radiologist at Royal Victoria Hospital, United Kingdom. He also practices in Ulster Independent Clinic and 3fivetwo Healthcare as Consultant Radiologist.

Dr. Ball has 12 years of experience as a Radiologist with significant experience in the range of established and more advanced imaging modalities. He has 12 years’ experience in Cardiac CT imaging and broad based experience of general Radiology and minor interventional procedures.

Mr Rolf Raajmakers

Rolf Raajmakers is a clinical consultant in diagnostic imaging and CT clinical science cardiovascular in Philips. Rolf finished his RT training program in 1983 at the Erasmus Medical Center, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Together with Prof. de Feijter and Dr. K. Nieman, Rolf pioneered theworld of Cardiac CT with 4, later 16 and 64 slice technology. 

He is closely involved with the initiation of the IQon SDCT systems at Case Western, University Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, USA and University Medical Center Utrecht, the Netherlands
