Sleep Therapy - Level 1 

This course will train participants on the identification, diagnosis, and treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA). Specific focus will be given to Philips Sleep Therapy devices, algorithms, mask fitting, remote patient monitoring, and long-term therapy outcomes.

About Speaker

Ms Amelia Walker

Following a Bachelor of Arts at Otago University in New Zealand, Amelia worked at a pathology lab in Auckland Hospital. She worked as a diagnostics co-ordinator before starting with Philips in 2014 as a Sleepeasy consultant.  Amelia was then seconded to the role of Product Specialist for Sleep Therapy before becoming an Account Manager for Australian Pharmacy Sleep Services (APSS) in Victoria.  She was recently promoted to become a dedicated Clinical Educator for APSS.

Ms Colleen Dellios

Colleen holds both a Bachelor of Science from Otago University in New Zealand and a Master of Science in Sleep Medicine from Sydney University.  She then worked as a Sleep Technician and secured her RPSGT. Colleen joined Philips 7 years ago and has worked in clinical sales in Queensland.

 

Mr David Lynch

David holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Newcastle.  His has a background in Respiratory COPD inhalers with Boehringer Ingelheim. He joined Philips in 2018 as our Hospital and Reseller Account Manager in Western Australia.

Ms Emily Marshall

Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Physiology (Respiratory and Sleep) in the United Kingdom at Middlesex University.  She has a wealth of experience working as a senior Respiratory Physiologist at Bristol Royal Infirmary. Emily joined Philips 3 years ago  working as our Sleepeasy Educator in NSW before moving to Brisbane as assuming the position of our Sleepeasy Clinical Specialist.

Ms Leanne Griffiths

Leanne brings ten years of experience working with patients in Adelaide Sleepeasy.  With a focus on patient outcomes she has strong experience with our Philips innovations across our Sleep Therapy devices, Patient interface and Connected Care solutions.  

Ms Melissa Wines

Melissa holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Swinburne University. She worked for four years at Mitcham Private Sleep Lab  before commencing at Philips in 2010 as a Sleepeasy consultant.  Melissa later became a Sleepeasy Educator, then Homecare Account Manager before commencing her role as Clinical Sales Specialist and Hospital Account Manager for Vic, Tas, SA, NT and NZ.

Ms Michele Norton

Michele has worked in the sleep industry for 25 years with Mayo Healthcare, Respironics and Philips. Her passion and focus on education and training has strengthen her relationships with customers across Sleep Labs, Physicians and CPAP Providers as our Reseller and Hospital Account Manager in South Australia and Northern Territory.

Ms Michelle Sewell

Michelle has both a Bachelor in Human Movement and Bachelor of Nursing from the Queensland University of Technology. She then worked at a sleep clinic before starting as a sales representative in Queensland for Australian Pharmacy Sleep Services (APSS).  Following Philips acquisition of APSS, Michelle became a dedicated trainer for pharmacy.
